The Administration of Kadalundi-Vallikkunnu Community Reserve is managed by a committee constituted as per Government Order, with a Management Plan approved by the Chief Wildlife Warden, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The Ecological Management, Conservation measures as well as protection of the area on environment aspect is being done through the Community Reserve Management Committee with the policy guidance from Forest & Wildlife Department. The CRMC consists of 5 members. The committee includes 3 members nominated by Vallikkunnu Grama panchayath and 2 members nominated by Kadalundi Grama Panchayath with a Chairman elected by the CRMC members and 1 representative from Forest& Wildlife Department, a Section Forest Officer of Special duty charge in Thamarassery Range as Secretary of the Committee.
